Bertha Bishop is a portrait and wedding photographer. She studied film photography in journalism school and is always looking for opportunities to learn. She has taken numerous classes on lighting, posing, and technique and is currently a student at the New York Institute of Photography. Bertha is excited to finally be at a point in her life where she can focus exclusively on photography. She enjoys capturing families, children, and teenagers and loves helping them capture great shots that they can hold on to for years to come.
What do you love about photography?
It makes me happy to get just the right shot. It’s what I’m supposed to do!

I have a talent for making people relax in front of the camera; I usually get the genuine smile!
